As a key subsidiary of the renowned Ntake Bakeries & Company Limited, this branch opened its doors in October 2016 and hit the ground running. Strategically located at Plot 11, Bell Avenue, in the Southern Division of Jinja City, the Jinja Branch was established to fill a gap and cater to the rising demand for quality baked goods in the eastern region. Being part of the larger Ntake family, headquartered in Nalukolongo-Kampala, has given this branch a leg up in positioning itself as a leader in the region’s bakery industry.

When the Jinja Branch first opened, it started small, focusing primarily on bread production and a handful of confectionaries. However, as they say, necessity is the mother of invention, and the branch quickly adapted to meet the diverse needs of its customers. Over time, the product range expanded, offering a wide variety of treats that tickled the taste buds of customers, from party cakes to samosas and even layered cakes. What started with just four distribution routes—Buikwe-Lugazi, Kayunga, Jinja, and Iganga—and only four vehicles has now grown by leaps and bounds. Today, the branch services twelve distribution routes and boasts six company-owned retail shops, proving that hard work pays off.
